The A-Z Ethogram DVD is a Video Catalog and Visual Study Guide and therefore has no audio or narration.
This collection of dog behavior videos is gleaned from thousands of hours of assessments on shelter dogs. Sue has excised out the most common behaviors and put them into alphabetical order, normal speeds, and slow motion for the best learning.
There are over 30 individual behaviors, in alphabetical order, and then there is a self-test section with longer video clips. This section shows multiple behaviors at normal speed for the viewer to test their skills, following up with a slow motion section disclosing all the behaviors seen.
The final section shows video clips of dogs with known bite histories, depicting discrete behaviors of dogs close to an aggression threshold.
Sue Sternberg has devoted her personal and professional life to helping dogs and people live together happily. She is the author of numerous books and DVDs on dog adoption, canine body language and behavior, especially aggression. Her work educating shelter personnel on training, temperament testing and environmental enrichment has helped countless dogs find their forever homes. |
